The best used 5
During the years that almost every brand of cordless tool possible. There have always been pros and cons of each. Offline Makita LXT though. The drill and impact driver and each is everything as advertised. Which are lighter than other models of 18V. Are difficult, the battery lasts at least twice as much as anyone who has used, and four times more than the craftsman I have an update. If you swallow the price, the purchase of this tool is worth every penny.

Easy, is not a "hammer" actually pay lithium. 5
I have Craftsman, Ryobi, Makita and DeWalt use 7-18 volt. Makita has become a rugged design and convenient.
But somehow the product of Amazon fell in the property. Makita BDF451 NO details to show in this exercise. In contrast to the drill, battery pack for only 1 year warranty. The standard output.
(Compared to my old Dewalt 18 Volt XRP Hammerdrill unbalanced and not the battery), this year has not been my forearm like Popeye pump, after about half an hour.
I wish I could say DEWALT is exceeded in all aspects. I expected more torque. Spoiled, I guess.
But the cost of lithium-ion lasting about 1.5 times more than the 18v NiCad in my experience. (Hammer is very useful, 3 / 4 hours # 10 Fixing the bridge) lithium bag loading: you can do before 45 "Minutes" lobotomizing full load without the battery. Also cool: The packaging free HOLD phenominally well, so it can remain ready to go. Ace in the hole.
Conclusion: not too heavy. Short of fuel burned to maintain storage charge better, but I think that the type BDF451 of spendy for the average torque. $ 279.00 shipped.

In general, however, some points Note 5
Let me start by saying that, in general, as I do this exercise (although I have not much). And 'fast, runs along a weight, and is comfortable. I also like the food - we can rationalize and solve with one hand without a key and without the exercise. This is very convenient. The storage compartment in the case is also nice. I made some negative points if:

1. This is not a hammer drill mode (description from Amazon says: "Shift Lock Driver System quickly changes to 'drill' on 'mode driver one-touch") I believe that this feature is not mentioned in the manual. There is a switch to drill mode (maximum torque), a couple in restricted mode (for driving screws) should be amended. Okay, but not a drill.

2. Life is good, but not really the point to the workplace Your're so it's not as good as could be.

3. Torque is limited to the lower end. In other words, even in the lowest, you can drive small screws on easily enough.

4. The switch to change the speed is locked (although the announcement of the Amazon and the manual to say this is normal). You need to turn the engine a bit 'and a couple of times, and sometimes try to move it. Not a big deal, but a bit 'boring.

All these points are very small (unless you really want a drill), so overall I am quite happy with this product.
